Bliss Fernandes the daughter of Prof. Rachel Fernandes the CEO of Rachel’s Homeopathy & Medical Aesthetic Spa, who also hails from a family line of esteemed devoted holistic medical doctors. She grew up in Canada and is currently a Traditional Thai massage therapist who pursued her degree from Thai massage Toronto. Alongside her healthcare career she is pursuing her higher education in Honours Biology at Wilfrid Laurier University.
Correspondingly in the year 2019 she graduated massage therapy program from “National instituteschool of beauty and health sciences”, Brampton and could not complete her OSCE because of covid and patiently waiting to give her exam to register herself as massage therapist with College of massage therapist of Ontario.
The various modalities she provides are Swedish massage that is performed on a treatment table which treats several muscle and tendon related problems, Swedish massage contains joint mobilization techniques which are used to ease fluids in the joints that provides appropriate joint movements. Grape seed oil is the primary component used in this massage, it contains many antioxidants and natural properties that are very beneficial for muscle repair.
Traditional Thai massage is performed while you are fully clothed on a soft mat putting the patient in different yoga postures. It combines acupressure and yoga techniques. It helps relieve joint muscle and tendon tension. It also provides vitality and promotes complete relaxation.
She alsopractices Ayurvedicmassage. An ayurvedic massage serves not only to relieve pain but especially as preventive medicine increasing circulation, stimulating, and strengthening the lymphatic system, and opening the flow of life force to cleanse and revitalize the body.

Prof V Rachel Fernandes is a professor in Homeopathy medical science with 28 years of clinical and teaching experience. Known for ability to build adequate patient rapport as well as setting up a strategic and systematic clinical practice ensuring regular follow up of patients.
Rachel obtained her Bachelors in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S) for 5 1/2 years from Fr. Muller’s Homeopathic Medical College Hospital, Mangalore, and a prestigious institute in India in the year 1994. She practiced with her mother who was a great homeopathy and siddha doctor in India about a year. In the process Rachel learned from her mother how to treat efficiently incurable and chronic diseases with homeopathy. Her mother is a backbone and support for her leadership skills and for her to become a successful medical director and a CEO of Rachel’s Homeopathy Inc. Rachel joined Fr. Muller’s as a lecturer in the year 1995 and started her teaching career. In the year 1998 she joined for a post grad course “Doctor of medicine” 3-year intensive program in Fr. Muller’s and passed out successfully and was awarded MD (Hom) by Rajiv Gandhi university of health sciences, Bangalore, India.
After pursuing her MD, she continued teaching as a professor in Fr. Muller’s. She was a post graduate teacher and an examiner for various universities of India. She is also a frequent contributor to homeopathic journals and college magazines. She has presented scientific papers on homeopathic subjects all over the world. Furthermore, she holds various memberships in different homeopathic associations of India like IHMA, HMAI. etc.
She moved to UAE in the year 2008 and was practicing Homeopathy in Abu Dhabi at “Alkamal Medical Center” until 2011. She was holding an independent license from MOH (Ministry of Health UAE) and HAAD (Health Authority of Abu Dhabi) registration, as well as she became one of the famous Specialist homeopaths in UAE.
She returned to India in 2011 and was posted as a PRINCIPAL & MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT of a Hospital, Head of the Department of Case Taking and Repertory at “Bhagawan Buddha Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore, India”.
Apart from her private practice, she was also appointed as a senior consultant at “Homeo Care International” Pvt. Ltd, which is a chain of super specialty corporate homeopathy clinics in India. There she visited several branches of “Homeo Care International” throughout Karnataka and healed hundreds of people with their incurable diseases through homeopathy. During her tenure at “Homeo Care international,” she presented a variety of live TV programs in an array of channels regarding homeopathic treatment for diseases like Allergic Rhinitis, Bronchitis, Asthma, Infertility, Psoriasis, Thyroid disorders, Alopecia, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Autoimmune diseases, Hepatitis, etc.
Rachel is a well-respected homeopath since 1994 and an internationally recognized Professor. She has been practicing Classical Homeopathy for 28 years and has helped thousands of people return to health rapidly, gently, and permanently with homeopathy. Rachel’s core intention is to give patients the benefits of homeopathy; she is a lady who believes in perfection and permanent cure. Her policy is to treat a sick individual giving enough time to narrate and express their concerns rather than immediately giving away medicines. Hence, she gives consultation only to a limited number of patients each day. She treats every patient giving utmost care and respect preserving their rights most ethically and honestly.
Rachel migrated to Canada in the year 2013 and was elected as a director in the Ontario Homeopathic Association for two years. She is actively involved in the growth of homeopathy in Canada and frequently publishes articles in a wide range of Canadian newspapers. In the meanwhile, she talks on the radio and TV shows as well.
She ispracticing full time homeopathy in Brantford, in the province of OntarioCanada beingthe director and owner of Rachel’s Homeopathy Inc., treating all age groups from infants to seniors and all types of diseases from simple cold to incurable auto immune diseases, like thyroid disorders, with her innovative methods through the homeopathy system of medicine.
From May 2015, she is a registered homeopath under the college of Homeopaths Ontario.
She completed her D.M diploma in Mesotherapy and was awarded a medical aesthetician certificate from Formula Life Institute of Aesthetics, Mississauga, Canada – Ontario province in April 2015. Currently she has a DermaLase IPL Nu Body Equipment Training certificate for laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation and providing integrated laser services to her patients.
Rachel’s dedication and commitment to healing in addition to her extensive training has facilitated her to help remove the suffering of her patients consistently over the years. Rachel gives lectures in Canada and in the US and Rachel’s Homeopathy continued Education offers an interactive workshop on how to make the application to “The College of Homeopaths of Ontario” for passing the competency exam to get license as homeopath.
Rachel herself has been through the regulation process thrice, in India, UAE and in Canada.
She also holds a North American society of homeopaths membership and practicesin USA.
Rachel moved one step further and has opened an integrated holistic health center under the name of “Rachel’s Homeopathy & Holistic Health” in September 2016 in Brampton with multi-disciplinary holistic practices, like Holistic counseling & psychotherapy, Yoga therapy, Mesotherapy, Chiropractic, Chiropodist, Osteopathy, Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, Massage Therapy, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Diet Counseling and Holistic Nutrition, Physiotherapy, Reflexology &Aroma flex etc.
Due to 2019 covid pandemic she closed her center in Brampton and moved her practice to Brantford in the name of “Rachel’s Homeopathy & Medical Aesthetics Spa.”
Her passion to teaching never stopped so she has opened a non-for-profitcollege “North American Academy of Traditional Healing Arts” and working on offering a wide range of courses related TCAM practices.
Rachel being expert in treating hair loss and scalp conditions with homeopathy she is currently studyingsuper specialization trichology course for physician from “world trichology society” USA.
Rachel acquired Canadian citizenship in the year 2019 and being well known among international medical fraternity she gets lot of enquires from her circle regarding migration prospects of Canada, so she thought of pursuing that as her second career during the post covid period. She studied with CDI college, Mississauga campus and graduated with the “Immigration consultant diploma” course with honors.
After passing the licensing exam from ICCRC (Immigration consultants of Canada regulatory council) she will provide legal services in immigration law as permitted by Canadian legislation.
